CryptantCrab - Game Review

CrypantCrab is an NFT game where gamers can play to earn by creating their own crab NFTs.

Each crab is a unique piece of art with different qualities based on different base elements like fire, metal, earth, spirit, and water. Each crab has the ability to mutate one body part and grow a new power. It costs 1 cryptant to mutate a crab but it has minute possibilities of turning into a rare mutation. However, there is only a 5% chance of that rare mutation, however, this percentage of chance can grow with each attempt.

CrypantCrab Mutation and NFTs

Another way of mutating the crabs is xenografting but it will cost 5 cryptants. Moreover, the crabs can be bred to create new crabs with their own uniqueness. These NFT crabs are put together in fights and like card games, the battle begins. Battles are won based on the power of each crab and the variation in its elemental special abilities.

The crabs that die in the battle are not a complete waste. Some of their body parts can be used to power up other crabs, creating new unique features and powers. The game finds its tradition in real-life animal sports called Beta Fish Fight in South East Asia which is a popular crab fighting match. Finally, train, mutate, or challenge other NFT crabs.
